Does this tool upload my AVIF image to any server?

What happens if my browser does not support AVIF images?
The conversion will fail because the browser cannot decode AVIF files. In that case, you will see an error message. To use this tool, switch to the latest version of Chrome, Edge, or Firefox, as they provide reliable AVIF decoding support.
How does the 'Preserve transparency' option work?
When enabled, the tool keeps the original AVIF alpha channel, producing a PNG with transparency. When disabled, the tool draws the image on a solid white background, which is useful if you want a non-transparent PNG.
Is the PNG output lossless?
Yes. PNG is a lossless format, so the converted image retains all visible details of the decoded AVIF image.
Why is my AVIF file rejected even though it has .avif extension?
Some files may be mislabeled or not actual AVIF images. This tool checks both file extension and MIME type to prevent invalid inputs.
Is there a size or resolution limit for AVIF to PNG conversion?
There is no strict limit, but extremely large AVIF files depend on available device memory and canvas capabilities. Very high-resolution images may process slowly on older devices.
