Rotate or reorder PDF pages.
Click the upload area or drag and drop a PDF file into the tool. The app validates the file and loads the page list. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
After loading, the tool shows each page with its page number. Use the scroll area to quickly review the full document before making changes.
Use the rotate controls on each page card to rotate 90° clockwise or counter-clockwise. You can rotate a page multiple times until its orientation looks correct.
Use the provided move or drag controls (depending on your browser support) to change the order of pages. The final order in this list becomes the order in the new PDF.
Set an output file name and, if available, tweak options like page size, margins, and background inclusion to control how the new PDF is built.
Click the button to rebuild the PDF with your new order and rotations. A progress indicator shows the current status. When processing is complete, download the updated PDF to your device.
Does this PDF rotate/reorder tool upload my PDF to any server?
No. All page reading, reordering, rotation, and PDF generation happen entirely inside your browser using pdf-lib. Your PDF never leaves your device.
Why does the tool say my PDF is password-protected?
If pdf-lib cannot decrypt a PDF, it reports it as encrypted. Encrypted PDFs cannot be opened in the browser. Remove the password using your PDF viewer’s 'Save as' option and try again.
Can I reorder pages by dragging?
Yes. You can drag each page row to rearrange the order. The final PDF will follow this exact order.
How do page rotations work?
Each page has rotation controls (⟲ 90° and ⟳ 90°). You can rotate a page in 90° increments. The rotation is applied to the copied page in the output PDF.
Does the output keep the same number of pages?
Yes. Every original page appears exactly once, unless the PDF is corrupted. You cannot duplicate or delete pages in this tool.
Why is only one PDF processed at a time?
This tool is designed for single-document editing. After downloading the processed PDF, you can upload another and repeat.
Why does the tool show 'Unable to read this PDF'?
This happens when the file is corrupted, encrypted, malformed, or the browser cannot parse it. Try opening the PDF in a viewer and re-saving it.
Can I rename the output file?
Yes. You can enter any custom name. If left empty, the file defaults to 'reordered.pdf'.
Why does processing take time on large PDFs?
The tool must copy each page and apply rotations in-memory. Large PDFs, scanned documents, or multi-hundred-page files may take longer depending on device speed.
Does this tool modify the original PDF?
No. The original PDF remains untouched. A new PDF is created based on your chosen order and rotations.
