Check if your IP is exposed via WebRTC in the browser.
Check if your IP is exposed via WebRTC in the browser.
Nextooly’s WebRTC Leak Test helps you verify whether your VPN or proxy is truly hiding your real IP address. The tool gathers WebRTC ICE candidates directly in your browser and classifies them as host, srflx (STUN), or relay (TURN/VPN) IPs.
It then compares the discovered IPs with your public IP to highlight potential leaks. You can enable extended scans, customize STUN servers, and filter IPv4/IPv6 or candidate types for advanced diagnostics.
Example
Input: The source text, file, or settings you want to work with.
Output: A clean webrtc leak test result ready for the next step.
If WebRTC Leak Test is close but not quite the right fit, these related Nextooly tools cover adjacent device & browser workflows without sending you to another service.
Best if you need to check your browser name, version, OS, device type, screen resolution, and user agent instantly.
Best if you need to discover local IP candidates exposed by your browser.
Best if you need to check your DNS resolver, WebRTC leaks, and VPN privacy status.
Does this tool send my IP addresses to any server?
No. All WebRTC candidates are gathered locally inside your browser. Your IP details never leave the page.
What does this test actually check?
It detects whether your browser leaks your real IP address through WebRTC even when you're connected to a VPN.
What are host, srflx, and relay IPs?
Host = local LAN IP, SRFLX = STUN-discovered public IP, Relay = TURN/VPN relayed IP. You can enable/disable each type in Advanced Settings.
Why does the test compare WebRTC IPs with my public IP?
If they match, it means your real IP is exposed and your VPN is not fully protecting WebRTC.
What does Extended Scan do?
It increases ICE gathering time to collect more candidates, improving leak detection accuracy but taking longer.
Can I use a custom STUN server?
Yes. You can enter any STUN server URL to test different network paths.
Why do IPv6 addresses sometimes not appear?
IPv6 must be enabled in the settings and supported by your network and browser.
